Who We Are
Waste Solution Services (WSS) helps multifamily and commercial portfolios lower and stabilize waste spend. We do not haul trash — we sit between clients and haulers to audit invoices, optimize contracts, right-size service, and manage vendor issues. Our value is simple: NOI lift, cost predictability, and fewer operational fires.
The Role (What You’ll Do)
We are hiring a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to build and lead WSS's entire revenue organization.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role. The CRO will be responsible for developing the sales organization, building the management structure, hiring and developing sales leadership and Account Executives, establishing accountability and performance standards, improving the sales process, implementing technology and systems, building out Marketing from the ground up, and personally supporting major opportunities when needed.
This person will work directly with the Managing Partners and have significant influence over the company's growth strategy, organizational structure, technology, hiring, and go-to-market strategy.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to manage an existing sales team. We are looking for someone who wants to build the revenue organization.
- Build and lead the sales organization across multiple locations.
- Manage and develop Sales Team Leads, managers, and Account Executives.
- Hire, coach, develop, and hold the sales team accountable to clear performance standards.
- Support large opportunities, escalations, and strategic client conversations when needed.
- Serve as a resource to the sales team, providing strategic guidance to close complex or "unclosable" opportunities.
- Build the organizational structure, compensation, KPIs, processes, and systems needed to scale.
- Personally support major opportunities and step into difficult deals when needed.
- Establish strong pipeline management, forecasting, CRM discipline, and sales reporting.
- Identify process improvements and implement new technology, automation, and processes to improve sales productivity.
- Build the marketing department from the ground up and directly oversee its performance.
- Establish alignment between Sales and the future Marketing function that drives measurable growth.
- Partner with the Leadership Team on revenue strategy, market expansion, hiring, and growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to open new markets and increase customer acquisition, revenue, and profitability.
What Success Looks Like (Outcomes)
- A high-performing sales department that consistently meets or exceeds goals.
- Strong coaching, accountability, and communication across the sales team.
- Improved pipeline quality, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy.
- A marketing department that is aligned with sales priorities and producing useful output.
- Measurable increase in overall profit driven by new customer acquisition.
Experience
We want an exceptional salesperson who has become an exceptional leader and knows how to build organizations.
- Proven experience leading and scaling B2B sales teams.
- Strong personal sales ability, comfortable cold calling, prospecting, negotiating, and closing.
- Experience hiring, developing, and terminating salespeople when necessary.
- Strong coaching, accountability, and performance management skills.
- Experience building sales processes, KPIs, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
- Experience managing remote or multi-location teams.
- Experience implementing sales technology, automation, and new processes.
- Meaningful experience managing or building marketing functions.
- Entrepreneurial, highly accountable, and comfortable operating directly with ownership.
- Experience in B2B services, commercial services, multifamily, real estate, or related industries is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
