About the Role

Reach Higher ABA is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children in a school-based setting in Rochester, NH.

In this role, you will work directly with children to implement individualized behavior intervention and skill-development plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will help children build essential skills, encourage positive behaviors, and participate more successfully in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one behavioral support to children in a school-based setting.

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs under BCBA supervision.

• Support the development of communication, social, emotional, and daily living skills.

• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA techniques to encourage progress.

• Collect and document behavioral data accurately and consistently.

• Monitor client progress and communicate observations to the supervising BCBA.

• Help children navigate classroom routines, transitions, and learning activities.

• Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, families, and clinical team members as appropriate.

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment.

• Follow ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and established treatment protocols.

• Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience working with children in ABA, special education, childcare, or a school setting is preferred.

• Understanding of basic ABA principles, positive reinforcement, and behavior-support strategies.

• Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.

• Patient, dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working with children who have varying support needs.

• Ability to accept feedback, follow clinical direction, and work collaboratively with a team.

• Commitment to providing ethical, compassionate, and individualized support.
